Speakers

CoderCamp Hamilton is a monthly meetup / mini-conference for local software developers to learn tools, techniques, and technologies from one another in a casual and friendly setting. We meet to talk about coding, software development, and technology to learn from each other and get better at what we do in the process.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, this will be an online only event featuring several lightning talks! All are welcome to attend and/or give a talk. The link for the meeting is in our Slack group or shows up when you register in Meetup.

Confirmed talks include:

  • Bryan will talk about how ownership and lifetimes help create memory-safe programs in Rust
  • Matt Grande will talk about how bad you are at email validation
  • James King will show Emojicode

We are always looking for speakers or lightning talks. If you would like to talk, get in touch with Bryan Poetz (@bpoetz) or Rob Prouse (@rprouse).

Info

Interested in giving a presentation? You can show up on the evening and hope there is time for your talk, or you can email codercamphamilton@gmail.com and we’ll add you to the list of scheduled talks.

Please register. If enough people are coming then we need to tell the bar to bring in another staff member.
